What are you guys all about? What do you do?

Hogsett Rent Ready is a family owned and operated business that helps property owners transition between tenants. Whether the tenant leaves the property a disaster area or it just needs a basic cleaning before the next residents arrive, we will clean out all of the debris, paint the walls, fix up the yard, remove or clean the carpets, do all of the surface cleaning including the windows, and much more. How do I pay you?

We accept checks, cash, credit/debit cards, and paypal.

  • Of course, cash, paypal, and checks have no fee.

  • As of January 2013, businesses are leagally allowed to charge a surcharge for transactions by accepting a credit/debit card. The merchant/service provider may charge up to 4% per transaction. Hogsett Rent ready charges 1.4% for swiping a card. To imput the information manually, a charge of 2% is incurred. This charge is only to pay for half of the convenience of using the card and no profit is made because of it. I figure, it is a convenience for both of us so, no need to charge cliets more than half of the responsibility.

  •  Personal Checks have a $30 return check fee if bounced.

50% of the estimated fees for our services is due by the day the project begins and is non-refundable. The final 50% is due the day the project is completed unless other arrangements have been made..

What about the garbage removal?

We will gladly deal with any mess you can show us. We will bag it and set it where you need it to be hauled off. It is the client's responsibility to acquire a container. We own a small truck and can haul small loads. If a largr hauler is required, we will add the rental fees to the total estimate and allow the client to choose what best fits their budget.

Do you do pressure washing?

Yes. Pressure washing is one of the services that we provide. We will do our best to clean sidewalks, cement and concrete surfaces, outside windows, siding, and much more. All you have to do is ask.

What do you charge for your services?

Though it is highly unlikely that any job will cost less than $300,  each project is different. We will not know what to charge until we see the property. Also, in most cases, we require that 50% of the total is due before the project may begin.

Estimates may include but are not limited to:

  • Labor
  • Hauler Rental
  • Equipment Rental
  • Plants
  • Paint
  • Mileage
  • Expected Expenses
  • Landfill fees
  • Transaction charges
  • Tax
  • Daily Municipal Licence fees

Do you charge sales/service tax?

Yes. Each state has a specific tax that is charges. WV, KY, and OH charge 6%. The tax is added to the total of each estimate for the client's convenience.

Are you licensed to work in my state?

  • We are licensed in WV and registered in KY and OH. We pay our taxes to each state accordingly.

  • We are not licensed for major construction. Our license allows us to work handyman and odd jobs services for residental dwellings.
